Dispute letter for a paid account still showing a balance
Use this when you paid an account in full but it still reports a balance or past-due amount.
When to use this template
- You have a paid-in-full letter or final statement.
- A settlement was completed but the account wasn't updated.
Sample letter
Replace everything in [brackets], and send one letter to each bureau that shows the error.
